Kyrgyzstan biking: Tour 3

We would like to present this biking tour for those people, who want to explore real wild places of the heavenly mountains of Kyrgyzstan. It is a perfect chance to feel the nature! You will cycle in the places, which are far away from busy civilization. The route of this biking tour passes along untouched mountain ravines where you will meet real nomads. You will see yurts - nomadic felt dwellings on your way. The owners of yurts are very hospitable and they will invite you to have a cup of tea.

Places to visit: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley - Kayindi village - Keuk-Ayrik pass - Chon Sary Oi village - Tamchi village - Kochkor - Sarybulak - Jalpak pass - Bishkek city 
 
Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
You will be met by your guide in the International Airport of Manas and accompanied to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek City. Transfer from the Airport of Manas to Bishkek takes half an hour. On arrival in the capital you will be accommodated in the hotel*** that is found in the city's calm district. After accommodation you will have a rest and you will start the day with a nice breakfast. This day you have an excursion to Ala-Archa Natural Park. Ala - Archa Park is located on the Kyrgyz ridge (Tien - Shan spur), in the Gorge of Ala-Archa, 45 km away Bishkek city. We will ascend up on the top of the mount in order to have a good observation of the gorge. After that we will be transferred to Bishkek. Overnight stay is in the Hotel***.  Dinner is served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
 
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley - Kayindi village
This day you will be transferred (200 km) by vehicle from Bishkek city to the Valley of Chon Kemin. The road passes along the Kyrgyz Range that has various astonishing gorges, which magnetize lots of travelers. From the road we will have amazing views of snow capped mountain tops. En route we will stop to visit the Tower of Burana - minaret that dated the end of 11th century A. D. (the oldest minaret in Central Asia) and the cemetery Balbans - stone warriors that refer to the Turkic Period. Arrival in Kayindi Village. After that the ride is for about 50 km. Near Keuk-Ayrik River (2290 alt.) we will spend this night in tents. 
 
Day 3: Ride, Keuk-Ayrik Pass 3889m - Chon Sary Oi Village - transfer Tamchi Village
This day our chauffeur doesn't drive with us. We cycle via Keuk - Ayrik Pass in the direction of Issyk Kul Lake. After having lunch on the Pass of Keuk Ayrik, we descend down to Sary Oi village, where our chauffeur will meet us. We will be transferred Tamchi Village. The Village of Tamchi is located on the Issyk Kul Lake northern shore. Issik - Kul (1608m. above sea level) is the 2nd world's biggest mountain lake. The lake is very often called "The Pearl of Tien - shan Mountains". Issyk Kul Lake possesses curative qualities owing to the salty water. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse in Tamchi.
 
Day 4: Transfer Tamchi - Kochkor - Sarybulak
This morning we will be transferred by car via Orto Tokoi water collecting reservoir to Kochkor Village. You will meet a family in Kochkor, and they will show you the way of national felt carpets production. Together with them you even can create your own carpet! There, you will also visit the shop of the Kyrgyz Handicrafts. After that we will ride to Sary Bulak village (2310 m. alt., 38 km) by the asphalt road. Transfer (7 km, 2390m. alt.) is to confluence of Kara - Kudjur and Biulioomiu rivers by bicycle on the dirt road. This night will be spent in the tent camp.

Day 5: Ride by bike to the foot of Jalpak pass (58 km, 3345 m)
This day we have a ride to amazing place that will take you away - the foot of Jalpak Pass. The ride is in satisfactory condition, but on the dirt road, of temperate complexity. You could enjoy the beauty of this place in full, as it is quite far away from busy civilization. Landscape in the gorge is like in tundra. Along the whole way you will see many picturesque mountain landscapes. On the way you will be surprised with mountains views diversity. This overnight will be spent in tents. 
 
Day 6: Ride to the Jalpak Pass (3345m. alt.) - Bishkek
This morning we will cycle to (3345m. alt.) Jalpak Pass and after that is (25 km) descend down to Korumdu Valley then till Dzhylangach River (Balgart and Dzhylangach Rivers confluence that forms Kichi-Naryn River) to Kara Saz Region. We will have a drive back to Bishkek city after having lunch. Offered through the views of untouched nature you will be carried away by the remarkable landscapes. Upon arrival, in Bishkek you will have spare time to go for shopping and to walk. In the restaurant, this evening you will have a dinner. This night will be spent in the hotel***. 
 
Day 7: Bishkek
Your breakfast will be served in the hotel. Afterwards we will visit Oriental Osh Bazaar to walk there and bargain for different goods. You will have a feeling as if you are 1000 years ago! After visiting Osh Bazaar you will have a sightseeing tour. During this city tour you will visit Ala-Too Central Square, the Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, Oak Park (Duboviy Park), Victory Square (Pobeda Square), National Philharmonic and Art Gallery. Overnight stay is in the hotel***.
Dinner is served at 7 o'clock in the evening. 
 
Day 8: Transfer to the airport
At the pick up time prearranged according to your flight details you will be met in your hotel and accompanied by your guide to the International Airport of Manas.
