The Kyrgyz nomads have been appreciating horses for many centuries. It was impossible to live in the mountains without it. They have lots of traditions and customs that are connected with horses. Almost all Kyrgyz games are on horses. You also can ride a horse in the hidden from other people places. The feeling of riding a horse in the mountains is amazing. You start to feel the taste of life and you realize that the best masterpiece in the world is the Mother Nature! You will ride it as if you are in the past time...

Tour summary:  

Day 1: Bishkek - Karakol
Your guide will collect you from Manas International Airport and accompany you to Bishkek City. This drive takes 30 min. drive. In Bishkek city just after breakfast you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake. The distance from Biskek till Issik - Kul is 200 km. On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret from the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors).  Issyk - Kul is the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608m.above sea level) and the biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic.  The Lake is also called "The treasure of Tien - Shan Mountains". In Cholpon - Ata you will also have an opportunity to visit ancient carvings on the boulders (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local Issyk - Kul museum. At 8 p.m. national dinner will be served in a restaurant.  For additional price you can also have a folklore performance there. Overnight is in a Guesthouse. 
 
Day 2: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. This day will be dedicated to a guided Karakol city tour, during which you will visit the Dungan mosque, which was built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Soon after, you will visit the museum of Prjevalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. N. Prjevalsky greatest achievements were the crossing of the great Taklamakan Desert and the discovery of more than 4000 species of animals, including the horse that was later named after him. The City Tour ended with a traditional lunch and we leave Karakol town at 1 p.m. starting our (70 km) way to remarkable Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley. You will see red mountains in different shapes on the way. In Jeli Suu we will stop at the place of the mineral sources of hot water, where you will have the possibility to take a have a bath. After, 1 hour horseback riding tour is to the Physical and Geographical station of Chong Kyzyl Suu. Dinner. Overnight stay will be in yurts. A yurta is a collapsible dwelling, an original nomad's habitation. It is made out of wooden frame that is covered with felt. The carcass of yurt is made without a single nail. 
 
Day 3: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
At 9 a.m. after a strengthening breakfast, we will leave the yurt camp and start our horseback riding tour to 2800m. Ashu Tor Pass. While riding with a bit of luck you might see mountain goats. After your lunch you will have an ascent to an amazing mountain lake on the horses. This lake finds its origin in a glacier. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Night is in yurts. At 8 p.m. dinner is served. 
 
Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Jumakuchak
We continue our (6h) horseback riding tour to Jumakuchak from the Kishi Kyzyl Suu valley via the small Jumalai pass, where we stop to have a picnic. You will have a chance to explore its virgin nature on your own. There is a gorgeous view on the sparkling Issyk-Kul Lake surface. At 7 p.m. is traditional dinner. Night is in tents among nomadic yurts of Kyrgyz people in Jumakuchak. 
 
Day 5: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
This day starts with 8 a.m. breakfast. Afterwards you will mount your horse to have the ride from Jumakuchak to Kok Terek Village for 6 hours. On the way you will come across the red cave that is called "500 rams". It is said that in olden times the nomads used this cave for their cattle. But some time later the part of the cave was destroyed by the earthquake. But even now it is possible to imagine the original size of this cave for 500 rams. There is also a picturesque mountain waterfall. You will have your lunch nearby. This waterfall is located not far away from the (40 degrees Celsius) hot springs, which we could visit if you wish. We continue our riding to Kok Terek Village after having a rest. Dinner. Overnight will be in a home stay. 
 
Day 6: Kok Terek - Bishkek
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. After packing your backpacks, you will be transferred along the southern shore of the famous Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km) to Bishkek by car. You will arrive in Bishkek in a Hotel **** around at 7 p.m.  You will have time for yourself until your pick up at 8 o'clock. You will have a farewell dinner in a café.
 
Day 7: Bishkek - Europe
Your guide will collect you from the hotel and transferred to the airport.
