The tour:

Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley

You will be met by our tour -guide at Manas International Airport and accompanied to the Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you have breakfast. The entire day you spend in the capital of Kyrgyzstan the Bishkek city, lunch is included. The tour includes walk around the central Ala-Too Square, Pobeda Square (Victory Square),, National philharmonic, Bazaar visiting Historical Museum, Duboviy Park (Oak Park) and others places of interest. Then you will be transferred to the Chon Kemin valley (national nature park) in the Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse, where you also spend one night. On the way, your guide shows you the minaret of the 11 century which is called Burana tower and its attached open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). Dinner time is 7 p.m.

Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga

Breakfast time is 7 a.m. after that you begin your trip to Tamga (380 km, 6h) by car. We drive along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake, which keep many secret, one of them mysterious city under the water (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "The pearl of Central Asia". You will have dinner in the guesthouse of Tamga village, where you also spend one night.

Day 3: Tamga - Jukku gorge - pass Jukku

After breakfast you will leave the Guesthouse at about 8a.m. by car that brings us to the entrance of the gorge Jukka. From there you hike through the gorge until you arrive the foot of Jukka pass .lunch will be on the way. Jukku is the place of Kyrgyz nomadic herders. You will meet real nomadic people who still live in yurts and you will be able try national drink Kumis (alcohol mare's milk). Dinner will be the open air. Overnight will be in tents at the same place.

Day 4: Pass Jukku - Ak-Shirak

Breakfast time is 8 a.m. You have lunch after the hiking over the Jukku pass. Then you continue hike along the Great Silk Road (7hours) inside the Ak Shirak mountain range (the average height is 3680meters asl). Ak-Shirak is famous for its mountain Chokoli lakes. All of them find their origin in glaciers. There is wonderful view over these lakes. After dinner you overnight in yurts near these lakes.

Days 5-7: Syrty Ak-Shirak

Syrty Ak-Shirak (3000meters asl) - From Ak Shirak, it takes 3-days of hiking along the southern shore of the Terskey Mountains Range to get the foot of Ashu-Tor glacier. (3600-4200 meters asl). During this unforgettable trip you will also see gorgeous Ara-Belsu Lake. Ak-Shirak is the place where ancient traders were hiding out from thieves.

All nights are in yurts traditional nomadic collapsible dwellings which are made of wooden framework without a single nail and covered with felt.

Day 8: Gorge Ashu-Tor

After hearty breakfast you have hike over the pass Ashu-Tor (4000m.) There you will overlook the Ashu-Tor glacier, while having lunch in the open air. Then you approach the Ara-Belsu Lake before starting the descent to Ashu-Tor gorge by passing through the very beautiful Northern Ashu-Tor valley (7 Hours, 3250meters asl). Dinner, overnight is in tents.

Day 9: Gorge Ashu-Tor - Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu

After packing your baggage, breakfast time 8 a.m.After breakfast you start your 7 hours hike down to the Chon Kyzyl Suu valley and the old geophysics station (2650m). Lunch break is on the way. Dinner time is 8 a.m..; the night you will spend in yurt, which is made of wooden framework covered with felt. It is a collapsible dwelling of nomads. It is enough 3-4 horses 2 camels to carry it from one place to another.

Day 10: Gorge Chon-Kyzyl-Suu - Bishkek

Breakfast time is 8 a.m. In the morning, you'll be guided down to the thermal springs of Jeli Suu, (1 Hours) where you can take a bath. After lunch you will be driven to Bishkek (350km) along the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake (1600m.asl through the magnificent Boom gorge. You arrive in Bishkek at a Hotel **** at around 7 pm, where you have time for yourself until your pick up at 8 pm. You have a farewell dinner in a restaurant where you will be performed a national folklore show in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 11: Return Journey

You will be picked up from your hotel and accompanied by our tour-guide to International Airport Manas according to the details of your flight.
