Day 1: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
The full day you will have a city tour, where you will have a chance to observe the major soghts of the capital. You will explore Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will discover National park to shoot photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then you will walk in Central Museum. After it you will direct 35 km where you can explore Hissor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). Hissar fortress is a kind of Palace of the Bek of the Emirate of Bukhara, which was built on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. Hissar fortress was able to survive well to this day, despite its age of existence. It is over 2,500 years old.A swimming pool and a large orchard were erected in the courtyard. And opposite the Palace there was a Bazaar, where trade was in full swing and every day there were caravanserais with merchants. You will also observe interesting sites in Hissor: the recently restored monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (new school of 16th-17th centuries), mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). After that you will transfer to Dushanbe. The night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
This day you will drive to to Kalai Khum village via a picturesque mountain road. You are going to direct over high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) known as Western Pamir Tract. Your tour will run through the most fascinating river valley and fabulous gorges, on the way you will have a chance to take photos and observe the magnificent surroundings of mountains and rivers. Along the way you will meet small villages and communicate with local people. Tajiks are by nature kind and hospitable people who generously welcome any guests from the road and treat them to all the best that they have in the house. They also work hard. The Tajiks are one of the most ancient peoples in the world. The Tajiks have preserved many of the ancient traditions and customs of their ancestors. They have their own spoken language-a variety of Persian. The original occupation of the Tajiks was arable farming in combination with cattle breeding. You will spend the night in a home stay to observe the way of local people's life.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
After breakfast you will transfer to Khorog. A city located on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, the administrative center of the Gorn-Badakhshan Autonomous region.It is located at the bottom of a deep gorge at an altitude of 2200 meters, near the confluence of the Gunt river with the Panj, 525 kilometers from the capital of the Republic - the city of Dushanbe. Due to its location in a deep canyon, the city is protected from strong winds and cold temperatures in winter; summers are usually warm and dry. You will observe en route Pamir people. Pamir people differ in many ways from Tajiks, they have a more European appearance, light skin and blue eyes. They also have different customs and traditions, and language. You will spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Journey starts with transferring the same way as you had before from Khorog to Kalai Khum. This is a road with rocky peaks over 6000 meters high and only one road can be built here. Pamir is too high for human settlement - it is the realm of mountaineers and snow leopards. The slopes and valleys are inhabited by rare mountain creatures such as the Marco Polo sheep or mountain goat, the elusive snow leopard. A trip to Pamirs is an interesting opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain area, learn the customs and traditions of the mountain people, as well as learn about the history, Ethnography and the whole creation of the world. You will have a chance to observe small villages and talk with local residents, observe their life. You will see human settlements that are located on both sides of the river. En route you will observe see Afghan stony villages and gardens. Your night is in a home stay.
Day 5: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
This day you will transfer to Dushanbe. You will end today your driving along Afghanistan border. You will drive along amazing Shuraba pass (2 267 m). You will be impressed under fascinating mountains that is Territory of Pamir Mountains. Over the years, the Pamir mountains have attracted the great attention of many scientists and discoverers - Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Today you have such a great opportunity to see the beautiful mountain peaks and enjoy the full journey. This day you will transfer along Pyanj River. Pamirs are snow-white peaks, green valleys, rows of mountain ranges, suspended glaciers and cracks of icy rivers. This day you will also visit Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 6: Dushanbe - Airport
